What a beautiful sight… A mirrored tree house that is nearly invisible!
It was believed that this could not be accomplished, when it was conceived. Built in Sweden by Tham & Videgard, many people said it would be impossible to build and a death trap for birds.

A Special Film Protects Birds
So, how will birds see this thing and not hurt themselves by flying into it? Lindvall says that a special film that is visible to birds will be applied to the glass.
The Interior Looks Just as Amazing as the Outside View
The units are constructed from sustainably harvested wood and have electric radiant floor heating and “a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly, incineration toilet.”
This appears to be a truly unique, one-of-a-kind, and “eco-friendly” resort. The owners say in Designboom:
“This is untouched forest, and we want to maintain it the same way. We decided, for example, to not offer snowmobile safari which is very common up here,” says Selberg. “Instead, wilderness walks will be offered.”
I hope we can get a nearly invisible tree house and/or hotel like this built in the United States soon!
