OMG!!!! This is so funny. I had never even heard of this until yesterday, when a friend of mine said she went to a local lake last weekend for “Blob Launching.”
She said it was the most fun she had EVER had in her life. So, of course I had to look it up. And, to my surprise (okay, not really) there are a ton of videos out there for this “event.”
Double Blob Launch… Okay, the language on this video isn’t English – but you don’t really need to understand what they are saying! The “blob launching” speaks for itself!!!
What is a “Blob”?
A blob is a giant plastic bag, filled with air and placed in a lake for entertainment purposes.
What is Blob Launching?
The ART of blob launching involves one person sitting on one end of the blob – simply waiting for the fun to begin. Then, another person (or persons) climbs a tower, cliff, etc. – and then jumps onto the other end of the blob, thus launching the “sitter” into the air.
Big Kids Are Useful… Wow!!! One really big kid blob launches one really small kid. This kid probably flies 50 feet into the air!! This looks like so much FUN!!!
